" Rudolf came to South Africa in 1895, intially as a farmer from Germany. He was a clever and and succesfull business man having been apppinted director of Castle Breweries (later known as SA Breweries). He was headhunted in the 1920s to merge the 4 leading breweries of the then South West Africa. With the merger he became Managing Director of Southwest African Breweries now known as Namibia Breweries. The friend is a descendant of Grau.
